We moved back into our extended and refurbished surgery building on Monday 6th June.
We would like to thank all of our patients for their resilience and patience whilst we were working in the temporary Portakabins.  We ask you to bear with us over the next week or so whilst we deal with the inevitable teething problems as we get ourselves re-established.
The final stage of the refurbishment plans will begin next week to update the nurses rooms in the old part of the building.  We hope that the refurbishment will be completed by early autumn.

Welcome to Orford Lodge Surgery

doctor_baby_girlThe practice is a long established partnership of five doctors offering a full range of primary care medical services at a modern surgery in central Hitchin.

The practice area includes all of Hitchin and the villages of Charlton, Gosmore, Holwell, Ickleford, Langley, Offley, Pirton, Preston, St. Ippollyts, and the Wymondleys.  Each patient has a doctor who is accountable for their care, which is the same doctor they are registered with.

The partners work closely with a full primary health care team of allied professionals including nurses and health visitors. This practice is now
part of the East and North Herts Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
